QUILTING PIECES offers the following pricing schedule. When you book your quilt top in, Chris can help select a pattern and provide an estimate price for you. Prices listed are subject to change at any time.

We also accept quilts by mail and we'll pay the return postage. Check our Orders page to book a quilt in with us.

To help us:

Carefully press your quilt top, paying attention to your seam directions
Clip any loose threads from your quilt top
Wash and press your backing fabric and cut off selvedge
Do not pin your quilt top to the backing and batting
Cut the backing and batting at least 8 inches wider and longer than your quilt (4 inches all round)

Tips for flat borders:

Measure the length of the quilt two or three times across the centre of the quilt body. Average these measurements

Cut two borders this length and pin to opposite sides of the quilt. Match ends and centres and gently ease

Repeat for top and bottom edges

ALL OVER-MEANDER (STIPPLE MED/LGE) A continuous wandering stitch all over the quilt top	from $4.00 ft²
CONTINUOUS LINE (EDGE TO EDGE) A selected pattern is quilted from one edge of the quilt to the other and repeated from top to bottom	from $4.00 ft²
CUSTOM QUILTING Stitch in the ditch, diagonal, 1/4 inch stitching, stipple (medium) for backgrounds, sashing designs and borders (Turning fee will apply)	basic from $6.50 detailed from $8.50 ft²
HEIRLOOM QUILTING Including feathers, motifs, cross-hatching, fine stipple and free hand designs (Turning fee may apply)	from $9.50 ft²
